Jack is a senior manager at Workwhile, having previously split his time with IPPR North as a senior research fellow.
He leads Workwhile’s research programme and works across a number of projects designed to tackle skills shortages and support young people progress into better-quality, higher-paying jobs.
Jack is an expert in local government. Prior to joining IPPR in 2021, Jack was an adviser in parliament and worked for the Local Government Association. Jack is also an affiliate researcher at the Bennett Institute for Public Policy, University of Cambridge, and a senior honourary research fellow at the Mile End Institute, Queen Mary University of London.
