About Private Roundtable: Health and growth: The role of secondary prevention in the NHS's 10-year vision
This event will discuss secondary prevention; the NHS’ efforts to detect conditions early and ensure they do not get worse through medicine, technology, early diagnosis or other means. We’ll explore what the priorities for the NHS 10-year plan should be and the importance of secondary care in maintaining people’s quality of life, reducing demand on the acute sector, and keeping as many people as possible economically active.
Our speakers:
- Paul Corrigan, Advisor, Department of Health and Social Care
- Mark Samuels, Chief Executive, British Generic Manufacturers Association (BGMA)
- Sebastian Rees, Principal Research Fellow and Head of Health, IPPR
- More speakers to be announced
