Hamish Falconer

Hamish Falconer served in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office for over a decade. His foreign service career focused on national security, humanitarian relief and hostage recovery, particularly in Afghanistan.
He also served in South Sudan and Pakistan and worked on human trafficking investigations during a stint in the National Crime Agency. On leave from foreign service he was a 'World Fellow' and a Visiting Scholar at Yale University. His research is focused on industrial strategy, national security and economic policy. He is the Labour party's prospective parliamentary candidate for Lincoln.
