Professor Jane Gingrich
Associate fellowJane Gingrich is a professor of social policy at the University of Oxford.
She completed her PhD in political science at UC Berkeley, and joined the University of Oxford in 2013. Her early work focuses on education and welfare reform, particularly the marketization of public services. More recently, she has been working on the intersection of public attitudes, voting behaviour and policy design.
She is also working on a project on the post-war evolution of education politics in 20 countries funded by the European Research Council. She is a co-director of a research group at the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR) on innovation and equity. She is also completing a book project on the Third Way turn in social democratic parties.
